I get why folks might be wary when this number pops up, but it’s actually Argos Customer Support. I’d been dealing with a botched delivery and trying to sort a re-delivery. While I was on the call filing a complaint about the bad service, the rep I was speaking to had already passed things up to a Senior Manager. Turns out, that manager was trying to ring me while I was still chatting with the first person. They phoned back later and it looks like we might’ve found a solution now. So yeah, it really is Argos Customer Service calling.

I got a call from someone with a strong Indian accent who claimed they were ringing from Argos, but they wanted way too much personal info. It came over like a dodgy call so I didn’t bother hitting ‘1’. Could’ve been Argos maybe, but we ain't expecting anything from them for another 5 weeks. Since loads of people have orders at some point, I normally just block these calls anyway.

Got a robocall from this number saying something about my Argos order. I have placed an order and it asked me to press 1, which I did but then felt a bit wary. They did give me the delivery date I picked and the right order number so I’m thinking it was legit. I also looked up the number on Argos website and it matches what they show there. They didnt ask me for any other details either.

Let the answerphone get it, no message at all. Folks reckon this is really from Argos but to me it feels like a scam. First off, I haven’t bought anything from Argos lately and secondly, when I have ordered stuff, I always get a text or an email about the delivery. I don’t think Argos even have my home number. Got a call from 03456402020 around 7:32 pm on the 1st of March, 2021. I had just placed an order with Argos about 3 hours earlier. Is this number linked to Argos? If so, they ought to inform customers about these calls beforehand. It really seemed dodgy, so I just ended the call.

Argos called me about a delivery using some automated system that kept ringing me back. Proper annoying, especially since it started at 5:30 in the morning and they tried three times before I finally picked up.
