Some bloke rang me saying he was Gareth from the Halifax fraud squad. He mentioned I'd had calls earlier but somethin felt off about him. I told him he wasn’t really from Halifax and he insisted he’d got in touch previously. Watch out, folks!!!

Got a call from this number, the bloke sounded really snappy and only used a bit of our surname. When I questioned him, he claimed he’d been with the bank for 17 years and even gave me a reference number, saying I could pop into the bank to check it out myself! Definitely watch out for this one, it feels dodgy. Stay careful, folks!

I got a call from someone claiming to be from the Halifax bank's fraud department. They actually knew my name and where I live, which was a bit creepy. But the moment I told them I'd hang up and ring the bank myself, they disconnected straight away. Definitely felt like a scam to me.
