This number called me & when I picked up it gave me three choices, but before I could even open my phone’s keypad it just cut off. Seeing other comments, I’m guessing it was Argos (I’ve been getting pushy “call us now!” messages lately). Like some others, I’m on a Debt Management Plan which Argos knows about and is getting payments from.

I’ve had calls from this number pretty much every day, like twice daily this past week. Tried ringing back outside normal hours just to check who it was, but no details came up. If it was a proper business trying to talk to me urgently, wouldn’t they at least say their name? Seems a bit dodgy to me!

i believe its something with argos, i picked up once and since then ive been getting loads of calls every day for like a month now. its some sort of automated system that also tries different numbers to get through. ive even been getting texts telling me to ring them about an account, mostly if ive got money owed or something.

This number rings us quite a bit. The caller said they were from Argos and mentioned someone who’s never actually lived here. I called the automated reply line back (maybe not the best move). Got connected to a lady with an English accent, maybe from Yorkshire, who asked to confirm my address and phone number - which they already had from directory enquiries. Like they said, it might take up to a day to be taken off their list. I reckon it’s a scam but I can’t quite figure out what the goal is. Anyone know what this might be about?

I've been getting loads of texts about urgent calls needing to be returned. I've told them to stop because no one with that name lives at my place. They said they'll remove it within a day or two. But after three days, I got another call with the same message. It's been about a month now and I've had around ten calls! They even told me I must have dialled the wrong number, even though I entered it myself. Honestly, it's getting really annoying now.

For the past three weeks I've been getting calls around 8:30 each morning from someone claiming to be Homebase, asking about a Jacqueline something? Today, I decided to actually answer and ask them to take me off their list. The woman on the phone said sorry and asked for the first line of my address so she could verify my number - no chance I was giving that to some random person! When I asked what address they had for me, she said flat 3, but there aren't any flats in my entire neighbourhood. Then she asked if I knew a Jacqueline with some surname I don’t recall, I said no and just ended the call. The caller said they were from Homebase, supposedly.

I keep receiving a barrage of calls from this number - I’ve counted a staggering 19 in just a few days! It baffles me why they continue, as I always decline the calls immediately. Kudos to them for their persistence, though!

In just the past week, I’ve had a barrage of calls - sometimes kicking off at 8 in the morning and dragging on well into the evening. Luckily, my new mobile automatically blocks calls from 0345 numbers, but it does keep a record of each blocked call. When I answer, the caller hears a message saying they’ve been blocked, yet they persistently ring back, which makes me think it's some sort of automated system constantly redialling. Honestly, it’s quite unsettling how relentless and downright rude they’re being. I’d say steer clear of them at all costs.

Got a voicemail that looked like it was from Argos about a delivery, telling me to press 12 or 3. They even got my last name right, which threw me off. Thing is, I hadn’t ordered anything at all. I just ended the call without hitting any numbers. I’ve let Argos know about it and now I’m waiting for them to get back to me. Got a call from some number today with a recorded message claiming it was Argos. The weird part is, I’ve heard the exact same message from a couple of other numbers too, like 08456069981. Proper annoying if you ask me! - caller said it was Argos or something like that
