I got a letter supposedly from the DWP, which is the Department for Work and Pensions, and it had my national insurance number on it. It looked pretty dodgy to me, so I’m convinced it’s a scam. Obviously, I’m not replying to it. Just wanted to warn everyone to watch out for this kind of thing!

Beware, this number is used by scammers pretending to be from the DWP. Don’t hand over any cash or personal info - it’s all a con. I’m really worried they’ve got hold of my national insurance and other sensitive details. Proper scary stuff!

Got a letter from the department for work and pensions saying I’m in debt to them.

I got a letter that looked like it was from the Department for Work and Pensions saying I had to pay back £81. The letter told me to ring 03456046697 if I couldn’t afford it, which made me suspicious straight away. The weird thing is they had my address and even my national insurance number on it, which honestly made me feel a bit uneasy. Seems dodgy to me.
