Someone said they're from SWT but there's nothing to prove it? Saying I have an unpaid bill or something... ?
I’ve checked all my bills and they’re sorted? Mainly my water accounts are all up to date.
Guess I just need to wait and watch... don’t want to end up paying 65p a minute when they don’t even give a proper ref, address, or how much I owe.

Got a txt from ‘stw’ saying I'd moved and to ring 03456033777 within 5 days or it'll be passed to a third party! Problem is, I pay my bill & my stw account doesn’t show any probs!

Just got a msg saying to ring this number from ‘stw’ claiming it’s cause i’d just moved - felt dodgy right away. Checked this page and it pretty much proved my suspicions. Definately a scam. Blocked them straight away.

Got woken up twice in the middle of the night when I was in Japan by calls - really not great. They never contacted me before by mail or email or anything. We’ve had Severn Trent looking into a dodgy meter at home for ages now, but their engineers can’t seem to install a proper replacement that fits correctly, which sounds like the likely reason. Maybe it’s about some old bill we challenged, though Severn Trent told us they’ve put that on pause.

I got a call from someone saying they were from Severn Trent's Debt Collection team. They wanted payment for some really old water bills I hadn’t sorted yet. Fair enough, I did use the water after all. Just makes me wonder, how do these people manage to get ready in the morning with all that attitude? Classic Severn Trent Debt Collection!
