It’s been 85 days straight with calls saying they’re from Argos. Got loads of texts too, but they can’t even get my name right. They want to sort out a collection or give me a refund but are asking for my bank details. Honestly, it’s proper annoying and feels dodgy!!!

On Friday evening, Argos Derby kept sending me texts saying my order was being delivered, but the name wasn’t mine and the address was in a different country. I haven’t bought anything and I’m in Scotland! The delivery driver rang me when he was supposedly 20 minutes out. I told him there’s no way, I’m in Scotland! Now it’s Sunday and Argos Returns keep calling me three times already. It’s an automated call that’s messed up, so I can’t even explain it’s not my parcel and that I’m still up here in Scotland.

On this day, the 18th of May 2015, I found myself receiving a couple of calls from the number 03456027281, both labelled as “International” on the display of my rather humble cordless landline. The first pinged in just after half eight in the morning, and the second rang in at a rather inconvenient 16:19. However, much to my dismay, when I picked up the receiver, I was met with silence. It’s quite unsettling and a source of great annoyance to receive such calls, especially as I’m left in the dark regarding who is trying to reach me or from whence they might be calling.
