Got a call from Virgin, they were asking for me. Then they wanted my password number, which seemed odd so I asked why, and they said they couldn't talk about the account without it. Two weeks before the switchover, Virgin cut my internet off, and I’m looking after a 92-year-old who needs the internet for her medical kit and security cameras. It’s absolutely disgraceful. Just checked your site and saw the calls are from Virgin! Nobody answers when you call back, so we decided to cancel on 29th June. We’ve been with them since the NTLWorld days and they were brilliant back then. Like others mentioned, Virgin Media keeps ringing me with offers for cheaper packages but none beat SKY since they actually give the forces discount. Virgin Media promote that discount on military websites but won’t apply it, proper cheeky if you ask me. The best they’ve offered is about 52 quid a month, but SKY sorted me out with basically the same deal for 38 quid.

Got calls 3 or 4 times on my mobile and once on my landline. I never pick up unknown numbers so I checked it out. I recently cancelled after being with them for more than 20 years. Won't bore you with all the gory details, but just like others said here, their customer service is just awful. They fib and then called my bluff. Done with them now. Somebody rang me saying they were from Virgin Media. They called me three times on my mobile. The first call said they wanted to talk about changes to my account. I just ignored the next two calls. Later, I got an email that looked like it was from Virgin, listing the supposed changes. I double checked with Virgin themselves, and they said they never called or emailed me, and nothing’s been changed on my account.
