somebody called me and mentioned a parcel ive supposedly sent, but i didnt send anything and they knew my name too!

It popped up on my phone as Royal Mail "Smart". I didn’t pick up cos I wasn’t waiting for any parcel from them. No voicemail was left either, so I’m thinking it might be a scam, even if the number looks like it’s from Royal Mail.

This number is linked to a scam, loads of people on my street got a card through the door (meant to be from Royal Mail) saying "We couldn’t deliver your parcel because you owe a payment." The card asks for £2 to be paid. It even has the Royal Mail logo which makes it look legit but it’s definitely a con.

Got a call from Royal Mail the other day, and they left one of those blue and white cards saying "Something for you" shoved through the letterbox. It said the parcel was by the front door, but there was no parcel to be found anywhere, and nothing else was marked on the card. It did have what looked like the correct Royal Mail sorting office address for Hampshire, but I'm a bit iffy about the phone number they put on there: 0345621021. Not sure if it's legit or a scam.
