It’s not some kinda scam. The call comes from Halifax, just tryin’ to confirm your identity. It’s an automated thing, and you get the call only if you’ve actually requested it. During the call, they ask you to punch in a PIN that they text over to your phone number.

This number is actually from HBOS bank, its an automated message you get after doing a transaction to check it's legit. Some folks here saying they have no clue who it was, it could be a scammer trying to mess with their account or do a dodgy transaction. Just got a voicemail from some guy called Mr Mackie Edinburgh saying I owe £22.50, no clue what for. He told me to enter a code to confirm the bill or just hang up. So weird, didn’t want to risk it, just ended the call straight away. If anyone else gets a call from this number (03456015450), just hang up and don’t trust it. Seems like a scammer for sure, if they’re legit they’ll ring back anyway.
