Got a call from a woman speaking with an Indian accent claiming to be from Virgin Media. She asked to talk to me and offered some money back on my monthly Virgin Mobile bill, asking for my account number. I didn’t say who I was and asked why she needed that info if she was genuine. She dodged the question, so I asked for details on my last payment instead. She clearly didn’t have a clue and after fumbling, she just hung up. Got two calls from this number in just a day. They didn’t bother leaving any messages. I had the same issue with this number a while back this year, fingers crossed it’s not kicking off again! I’m based in Cambridgeshire.

Been getting calls from them again and honestly it’s stressing me out a bit. They mentioned the right name when I picked up, which totally threw me off and left me speechless. This isn’t the first time though; they’ve rung a bunch before and it’s getting pretty irritating. I heard they’ll try again on Monday, but I’ve already blocked the number.

Supposedly it was Virgin Media calling me. I told the bloke to send a text because I wasn’t sure about it, but never got anything.

But things went sideways when my brother shouted at them to buzz off, calling them scammers. Then the person on the other end told us to shove it too before hanging up. Yeah, that was the final straw for us.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Virgin Mobile, saying they could lower my phone bill. They started asking for my bank sort code ‘cause I’d apparently forgotten my password. Fang it was a total scam, so I just hung up straightaway.

Even though I'm with Virgin Mobile, I’ve had to block loads of numbers from these spammy sales calls coming from India. They just keep bothering me, nonstop! My phone doesn’t even ring but I can tell they’re still dialing. Virgin, seriously, sort this out and stop the hassle. If we needed to speak, we’d call you, no worries.

The soundscape was distinctly reminiscent of a call centre. I greeted them with a 'hello', only for them to abruptly terminate the call.

Got a call from this number once and my BT phone just blocked it and put it straight in Spam. I've had loads of annoying calls from people at this number, never picked up. Feels like some bothersome scammer just harassing me 🙄🤬
