My phone buzzed with a US number (+1 (740) 654-94), but I just ignored it since the digits seemed incomplete. Later, I got a voicemail from someone named "John Kidder" speaking with a British accent. He confidently said my name (which was pronounced correctly, even though it’s a bit unusual) and claimed he was calling from HSBC Bank. He spoke really quickly, so I couldn’t catch everything, but he told me to ring back on 0345 585 7567. I've had calls from HSBC before, even complained about them, so I’m not sure if this is legit or not. I’m hesitant to call back because of the dodgy caller ID. Feels a bit scammy and unprofessional to me...

I received a call from someone claiming to be Oliver Dunleavy from HSBC, and he mentioned he’d ring me again later. Quite peculiar, if you ask me!

So, I got a call from someone saying they're Warren Middleton at HSBC, and the number matched the one on the screen. They knew my name, so I picked up without much thought. The caller said, "Welcome to HSBC," then mentioned something about recording for training. But when I tried calling back, it just rang out with no answer at all. Ended up hanging up in the end!
