Just got a call from this number earlier and told the person it’s not Barclays calling me, so I think it’s some kind of scam. They ended the call right away lol.

Warning! Got a call from someone pretending to be from Barclays or Barclaycard, saying there was a dodgy payment on my card. They actually had quite a bit of personal info like my phone number, name, address and even the last few digits of my card plus the expiration date. To 'verify' I had the card, they asked for the code from my PINSentry or an OTP sent to my phone. They sounded really pushy, warning that the transaction would definitely go through and I’d lose money if I didn’t share the code. I said no, and later rang the official Barclays customer service who confirmed they never called me or ask for those codes. Be careful, it was surprisingly convincing for much of the call!

Got a call out of the blue from someone claiming they were ringing from Barclays about some fraud issue. Seemed a bit dodgy to me.
