Got a call earlier from someone claiming to be Nat West’s Fraud Dept, asking me to verify my login info. Definitely sounded dodgy to me.

Total scam this one! They ring up constantly and say the exact same thing every time 😂 If you’re ever in doubt whether it’s actually the fraud team, just tell them you’ll phone back later. The legit HSBC won’t mind at all. The dodgy ones panic and say you’re not allowed to call them back.

Got a call from this number earlier, said they were from HSBC fraud dept. They told me there was a big payment scheduled from my account and asked if I knew about it. Then they tried to get my account details, like sort code and number, to 'verify' me. I just ended the call right then.

Some woman rang me claiming she was from HSBC's fraud department and wanted to confirm my identity by asking for my date of birth. I asked her to prove who she was, but she reckoned the DOB wasn't sensitive info, so I ended the call straight away.

Got a call saying it was from HSBC Fraud Prevention, they asked for my date of birth, sort code and account number to verify me. They said there was a motor finance direct debit due to be taken on the 2nd for £3,000. It felt dodgy straight away, so when I refused to give them any details, they just ended the call. Pretty obvious scam to me.
