Someone pretending to be from Jaja security contacted me and I ended up getting scammed by them. After I told Jaja directly using the phone number on the card, the bank confirmed that Jaja only uses the number on the card to call me. So the earlier call I got was definitely a scam. Jaja have now blocked my card to prevent the crooks from using my info to make any more purchases.

First I got a phone call and then a text came through. Watch out for these.

I got an email about my mobile, which came through twice - first at 10:44am then again at 1:31pm (missed the first one). The message claimed there was a strange transaction on my Bank of Ireland UK card, showing the last 4 digits of my card. It mentioned a £0.00 purchase with Deliveroo. I replied with a 'no', then they wanted me to call 03453098099. The email also said they'd put a temporary block on my card. I haven’t called that number yet. Is my account okay? Cheers, Mary.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Bank of Ireland, asking for my personal info for some security check. It seemed dodgy, so I ended the call straight away. Then I rang my actual bank who told me they weren’t trying to get in touch and warned it was likely a scam. They said the number, 0345 6460934, wasn’t one of their official contact numbers either.
