I got a call from someone claiming to be from HMRC, saying I'm being investigated. It sounded super official, but I’m pretty sure it was a scam trying to scare me. They wanted personal info which didn’t feel right at all. Definitely beware if you get calls like that!

This was totally one of those usual HMRC scam calls. I’ve gotten a couple before so caught on quick, but figured I’d push 1 just to find out more. Ended up speaking to a pretty rude Asian woman who just slammed the phone down when I asked her what the call was about. Be careful out there, and absolutely don’t share your bank info if some random number calls you!
