Some automated message came through saying HMRC was suing me over taxes I supposedly didn’t pay. I just ended the call straight away.

Really odd experience. The phone first had a British ringtone, then suddenly it changed to one that sounded American... what’s going on?! A lady answered, saying she'd connect me to a senior officer. Then this guy with a pretty thick Indian accent said he was from HM Revenue & Customs. He started talking about some fraud case and said there was a warrant for my arrest. I just ended the call straight away since I could tell it was a scam pretending to be HMRC.
