Got a message saying it was from RBS, asking me to ring them about my account and have my bank info ready when I call back. Problem is, I’ve never had an account with RBS! And I usually ignore texts from numbers I don’t know anyway. Sounds like a fishy scam to me.

I received a call purporting to be from NatWest, mentioning something about my loan application. They've asked me to ring this particular number back.

I've had a couple of messages from NatWest claiming, "Cheers for your lending application. We'd love to assist you but require a bit more info before we can wrap things up. Please ring us on 0345 301 6084 from 8am to 8pm, Monday to Friday, or 9am to 4pm on Saturday. Cheers!" Quite clearly, it’s some sort of scam or phishing attempt-absolutely infuriating since they somehow got hold of my number!
