I received a call from someone with a West African accent who claimed to be from RBS. They mentioned my surname and said they were reaching out to all clients to check if everything was alright during the Covid period. After that, the line just went silent. Quite odd, really.

Got a call from this number and it turned out to be a scam. The Natwest Fraud Team confirmed that Natwest never contacts customers like that. The caller sounded convincing, even knew my name and claimed to do video account checks, asking if I used Zoom. Thankfully, I ended the call straight away. Watch out for this one!

I actually spoke to someone from NatWest about a question I had, and it seemed totally legit based on how the chat went. Still, I’m aware of phone cloning tricks these days, so it’s always best to stay cautious.

Got a call from someone at my nearby NatWest branch the other day. A woman told me to set up a savings account on their app but didn’t request any personal info at all. To the person up there claiming the ‘safe’ reviewers here are con artists, just remember tech these days can clone phone numbers. Plus, real bank representatives will NEVER ask you for your private details.

Got an automated call saying it was NatWest, but I rang them up and they said no calls had been made from their side. Pretty sure it’s a scam! It sounded really convincing, so watch out everyone.
