A letter landed in my mailbox showing this number. It came with a "cheque," but it didn’t have my full name on it, and there was barely any other info included. Felt a bit off to me.

Got a letter supposedly from Scottish Hydro Electric, and the phone number they gave for contact was this one. It talked about an account that I don’t even have, so it’s clearly a scam.

Got an email that said it was from uswitch, saying my energy provider was changing to SSE because I asked for it. Problem is, I never made any such request. The email looked pretty legit, with proper logos and all, so it fooled me for a moment. They gave a number to ring for info, but I just blocked it straight away. Dodgy scam if you ask me.
