Got a call from some automated voice claiming I owed tax and faced serious trouble with HMRC. I pressed one, and this guy who said his name was "Mike" - sounded like he had an Indian accent - picked up. That was my first red flag. Then he threatened to send the police over for unpaid tax, which made me chuckle since my dad’s actually a cop. I told him, "I’ve got an officer right here in the house now, want to have a word with him?" He hung up right away. Total scam, don’t fall for it!
