I’ve blocked the number but they seem to be using a different one now.

This number belongs to a PPI claims outfit, and if you’re a bit sharp with them or they get bored, they start ringing nonstop, pretending to be from energy firms or, like with me, claiming to be Sky saying I owed £800 - which was funny since I’ve never had Sky. I worked out who they really were, which didn’t go down well with them. We all share one thing: they first contacted us about PPI. If enough folks report them to the regulator, they might lose their licence. I’m currently putting in a complaint with the Claims Management Regulator.

Got a call asking for someone who’s not even at this address, then they just hung up on me! Yeah, blocked the number straight away!

I got a call from this number while I wasn’t home. They didn’t leave a voicemail or anything. This is actually the second time it's happened. Not sure this is the right spot to bash someone’s Northern accent, though. I also say “dubble” instead of double. Would people be any happier if they’d said “dabble” with a Southern twang? Probably not.
