I got a random call from someone claiming to be from Home Plan Services. She was going on about my fridge freezer and washing machine, both supposedly Hotpoint Group models, being out of warranty after five years. When I asked for more details, she couldn’t really say which machines they were talking about. I told her I had older appliances, one of which is still looked after by a repair firm. She insisted their info must be inaccurate. Honestly, I had to agree with her on that!
