They just wont stop ringing me, despite me asking them to knock it off. Honestly, if you look at these reviews, hardly anyone leaves good feedback about cold calls - it’s mostly the spammers themselves giving themselves pats on the back. It’s proper laughable when you think about it.

Pretty obvious this was a telemarketer ringing me up. Also, looks like the company’s been posting loads of glowing reviews on here themselves. Just so you know, they’re pushing you to switch your phone plan over to them. If you’re interested, then it might be worth answering - could end up cheaper. Just be sure to check the small print on any deal first.

Got a call from a bloke named Craig, honestly one of the quirkiest cold callers I’ve ever chatted with. He kicked off by quizzing me on how many phones I owned, then kept going on about something to do with monkeys. Got a call from some lot called Viewpoint, claiming they had a chat with me last year about mobiles and broadband for my business. I told them I’m locked into a long contract, but honestly, I’d never heard of them before and didn’t recall any call. They seemed a bit shocked. I mentioned that I don’t trust random cold calls about switching broadband, call it spamming. Their response was, “Didn’t you get our email?” I said, “I get loads of spam emails, so maybe, but I’d have just deleted it. Anyway, please remove me from your list. Goodbye.”

I received a rather suspicious call today from a company that goes by the name of ‘Viewpoint’. They seemed to think I had shown some interest in their offerings, which include broadband and mobile phones. When I told the lady on the line that I had no knowledge of their company and that I would never consider switching my broadband provider based on a cold call from a spammer, she sounded quite taken aback. She then inquired if I had seen their email. I responded honestly, saying, “I might have, but I tend to delete all spam correspondence without a second thought.” It’s all rather concerning, really.

Some bloke called craig claiming he was from U Point and said he’d spoken to our director. I tried a quick look-up but couldn’t find any trace of the company. He wouldn’t let me transfer the call without more details. Claimed he was emailing my director and would come back to me, but wouldn’t share much about the firm. Told me I was being rude for not connecting him. Had a chuckle about it and just carried on with my day.

Got a call from some eager young guy asking for the director like he’s some kind of expert. Couldn't tell the difference between a client and a supplier - pretty clueless. Ended the call quick sharp.
