2 yearsI wasn’t sure at the start, but after checking everything out, I managed to prevent anything more from happening with my account! Simon was absolutely brilliant!!!Simon2 yearsGot a call claiming to be Natwest, saying there was a huge withdrawal on our business account. They used both mine and my husband’s names, which I guess they found online somewhere. It sounded pretty real at first, but then they asked me to log into my account. That didn’t sit right with me, so I ended the call and rang Natwest directly from their official number. Definitely a scam!Natwest2 yearsThis number rang my mum saying there was £2000 being taken from her account and that they needed her bank info to cancel it. The man even gave her his name and phone number to "prove" he was legit. Mum didn’t hand over any details, and the Cumberland Building Society have told us it’s a scam and are passing it on to the fraud team. Afterwards, her friend called that number to explain how upset mum was, and the bloke called back to apologise! This all happened before we got in touch with the building society.
