I’ve just had a pair of texts regarding a parcel - one claiming it's on its way, then another stating it’s been delivered and signed for by a stranger to us. The thing is, we haven’t actually ordered anything! I found this number listed on the UKmail site but nobody picks up. If this turns out to be a scam, as we reckon it probably is, I can't fathom how it operates unless they’re raking in a fortune from the phone call charges.

I attempted to give them a ring after discovering a card indicating that I’d missed a parcel delivery. However, the call was rather frustrating as it just went round and round with the automated system insisting that my reference number was incorrect. I didn’t bother sending them an email after investigating the phone number a bit further. I’ve got a nasty feeling this might be a scam.
