Got a call from someone saying they were from Santander, claiming there was suspicious activity on my account. They knew the last four digits of my card, which seemed legit at first. When I denied it was me, they said they’d send me a code via text to stop the payment. The message said not to share the code with anyone, not even Santander staff, which sounded odd. When I asked about it, the caller said it was fine to tell him so he could sort it, but I refused. I tried to find out his name and location, but before I got answers, he just ended the call!

I got a call from someone claiming to be Santander and they even mentioned the last 4 digits of my card. However, they messed up by saying the wrong name. When I asked about it, they just cut the call.

Someone tried ringing pretending to be from Co-op bank. Sounded fishy straight away and seemed like a scam call. Glad I didn’t give them any info! Always best to double check if you’re not sure.
