Receiving a barrage of calls daily from an unknown number is quite bothersome. I've got no clue who it is, and to be honest, I'd really like to put a stop to it.

I received a call from this number on the 2nd of December at 10:05, followed by a couple more on the 7th at 08:57 and again at 13:04. Today's date, the 8th of December, saw yet another call come in at 08:41. I've chosen not to pick up, as I don't recognise the caller.

I had a phone call from this number, and since I use BT Guardian, I decided to pick up. The caller stated they were from my utility provider and proceeded to inform me that my meter required replacing. They attempted to set up an appointment right then and there. The moment I requested a written confirmation, I feared I may have given away too much personal information, like my first name and part of my address, albeit inadvertently. It’s definitely a scam posed as my utility supplier!
