Got a call from someone saying they were from MetroBank. They didn’t ask me to confirm any bank info, but when I questioned if the call was legit, they rattled off my full name and an address that wasn’t even close to mine. That made me suspicious straight away. I asked them again to prove it was real, but they couldn’t do it, so I hung up. Then I called MetroBank back on another phone to check, and after giving them my details, they told me it was definitely a scam.
