This isn't some sort of scam at all. The number belongs to SSE, but since OVO took over SSE, it's actually an OVO number nowadays.

I got a letter saying I had an appointment, so I rang the number on it. The person who picked up sounded like they were from the sse, but then just put me on hold for ages and never came back. Feels like it was some sort of scam, just trying to get people to call back.

I got a text on my iPhone saying an engineer was supposed to come to my place on Thursday. I’ve gone ahead and deleted it now.
