This number actually belongs to Daily Mail's customer care, so it’s not some sort of scam or anything dodgy.

Got an email claiming to be from some mail subscriptions, with the subject saying ‘your mail plus renewal didn’t go through’. It told me to ring their ‘freephone’ at 0345 071 2721 to sort it out and keep my mail plus active, signed off by the mail plus team. Pretty obvious scam though, as 0345 numbers aren’t actually free to call like they pretended.

this number really does belong to the daily mail customer service team, just so you know.

Got a message about an issue with my Daily Mail subscription, pretty much the same as one I got before. Bit annoying really, feels like they’re just nagging me about the same thing over again.

Got a call from some bloke called Danny on 01142996787 offering a subscription to the “Daily Mail”. Then I got an email confirming it but the contact number they gave was 03450712721 to sign up. Something feels a bit off about this, dodgy if you ask me.

Got an email about some Daily Mail subscription they said I had, asking me to call a number to 'verify changes' on my account. Problem is, I don’t even have an account with them. Turns out the phone number is a pricey scam line. Looks like a dodgy trick to catch people out.

I ended up being charged £100 after a call from this number. I don’t even know who they are and I didn’t make the call! Anyone know what’s going on?

Got a call from someone saying they were HMRC. They told me there’s a fraud case against me and I had to press one and share my info or they’d send a warrant to have me arrested. Seemed really dodgy to me.
