Got a call from someone claiming to be with E.on, saying there was a problem with my postcode on the meter records and I’d be charged more than £1200 if I didn’t confirm my address. It sounded dodgy, so I rang E.on myself on their official number. They told me straight away it was a scam. They even confirmed my meter address was right and the MPAN number the caller gave wasn’t valid at all. If anyone gets this call, definitely don’t trust it!
