I’ve been bombarded with numerous calls from 03449800175 (dlc), demanding £23.99 for an Orange phone number supposedly linked to 1995. The thing is, that ain't my number at all! Initially, they didn’t even have my address, but I made the blunder of mentioning it during one call. Lo and behold, the next call they had my address on file. I’ve since concluded that this is nothing short of a SCAM, and I've decided to cut off any further engagement with them. I haven't been an Orange customer in yonks, and what's more, the number they keep referring to doesn’t even match mine. They insist that I only cancelled the direct debit in August, but that’s utterly baffling! My Orange number was a Pay-as-you-go service, meaning it couldn't rack up a data bill since it was limited to calls and texts only. So really, how could there possibly be a bill for something like that?

I keep receiving incessant calls on my mobile from a debt collection agency named DLC. They seem hell-bent on pursuing a supposed ‘debt’ of a mere £21.95-yes, you read that right, under twenty-two quid! This relates to PlusNet, who, despite me having terminated a SIM-only arrangement (which had no fixed term) via phone, continued to siphon off £5.95 monthly. I even ensured that the direct debit was stopped. It’s quite ridiculous, isn’t it?

18:50, and wouldn’t you know it? That makes it five times today, 22nd June 2017, that this particular number has decided to ring me. It's been a full week of this nonsense!
