I reckon these guys are just middlemen insurers hire to gather info on crashes, but they don’t seem very professional or organised. It’s usually better to deal directly with your insurer or the underwriting company. They can be a bit aggressive trying to get information.

My dad, who’s nearly 78, got this letter about a crash he’s never been involved in. It really upset him, he was nearly in tears over the whole thing. They were basically threatening to pay some third party if he didn’t get back to them. Honestly, it feels so unfair and like pure harassment. Such awful people to mess with an old guy like that.

i got a letter from a company claiming to be working for saga insurance, but honestly they’re really careless. my saga policy was mentioned but nowhere in the letter did they actually say saga or include my policy number, which made it seem dodgy at first. just to be clear, it’s not a scam, but the way this marker study group handles things is just all over the place and confusing. honestly, the best thing is to just assume they’re clueless cos that’s exactly how they come across.
