Without a doubt, this feels like a scam associated with Microsoft.

I've received three rather pushy calls from a woman using this number, insisting that I could land myself in hot water with the police if I didn't heed her directives. She claimed to be affiliated with Microsoft’s technical support team.

What a right bother! Those pesky ransomware crooks have really set their sights on the older folks. All they've done is create a load of aggravation. They completely shut the user out of their own laptop and had the audacity to pretend they were from Microsoft support. Quite the scandal, if you ask me!

Had a call from someone purporting to be from Microsoft based in Reading, saying they needed details about my computer, as apparently it was involved in hacking accounts. I hung up immediately, but they persistently keep ringing.

This so-called 'Microsoft' is nothing more than a blatant scam. Please, don’t allow them to take control of your computer. It’s a flimsy ruse!

What a shocking encounter! I quickly caught on that it was a scam from Microsoft. When I mentioned that I use an Apple computer, they suddenly claimed to be representing Apple instead! I pressed them for their contact number (this one) and the address of their office. They named Reading, Thames Valley Park. Curious as I was, I asked how they obtained my number and knew what type of computer I had. He dismissively replied that he wasn’t going to indulge my 'silly queries'. I persisted, which evidently annoyed him, and he told me to clear off before hanging up on me! How delightful, right?

I'm absolutely exasperated with the incessant calls from these unscrupulous chancers. On occasion, I let them ramble on just to squander their time, hoping to deter them from targeting someone else. Why on earth can’t BT just block these numbers outright? They allow these calls to come through and profit from it - surely they should be held accountable for this nonsense?

I received a call from two individuals, both with an Indian accent, claiming to be representatives of Microsoft. They were based in Reading, and they insisted that I press control R. Naturally, I declined to follow their instructions. They then threatened to shut down my Microsoft account before abruptly hanging up.

Received a rather curious call from someone purporting to be 'Anna Edwards', who had quite a pronounced Indian accent. She asserted that she was representing Microsoft and warned me that my computer was supposedly being compromised for illicit activities. I asked her for her contact number, expressing my suspicion that this might all be a scam.

I just received a rather dubious phone call from a chap named Mr Laurence Gordon Williams, whose accent wildly contradicted his name - I'm guessing he might have roots in India. He claimed there were significant issues with my computer, mentioning a staggering 3,000 faults and insisted he needed to verify my system's cleanliness. Strangely, he mentioned I would need to purchase a certificate for a fiver, despite me not having shared any banking information. When I informed him that I was recording the call, he became rather aggressive and abruptly terminated the conversation. Please, take heed - this is definitely a scam. He even urged me to press the Windows key along with R, which would allow him access to my computer. Stay vigilant!
