Cabot Financial is a proper debt collection firm. In some cases, people give out the wrong phone number, whether by mistake or deliberately. That’s what happened to me - but I called their main number from their official website (0344 556 0263) and cleared things up. They took my number off their list after that. They WILL keep contacting you if they believe you owe money, but as soon as you get in touch to say they've got the wrong number, they WILL stop. So I’d say they’re SAFE.

There’s this company named Cabot ringing me constantly. I only pick up if I recognise the number. They keep calling daily, but I’ve blocked them now. The phone rings briefly before going straight to block. Such a pain!

This morning I got a call, my partner picked up and they wanted to speak to me. They said they’d sent letters and texts but I never received anything. When I said I’d never heard of them, they kept insisting they’d sent texts - which I definitely didn’t get. Then they asked for my details again, but I told them I had no clue who they were or what company they represented as I’ve never come across them before.

Cabot Financial are just a dodgy debt collection company takin advantage of people who are struggling money-wise. Best thing is to just not bother with them, they don’t have any real authority. You don’t need to talk to em, answer any of their questions or follow their orders. If you manage to avoid them for about six years, any debts collected by these third parties will expire. Sorted in the end.

Cabot Financial have called me a few times but only left a message this morning, which is how I found out who they were. I really have no idea why they keep phoning as I don’t owe anyone any money. I’m registered with the TPS so it’s baffling they keep bothering me. If they ring again, I might just pick up and warn them I’m going to report them to the FSA - fingers crossed that scares them off!

this number just wont stop ringing me, like every day and even in the evenings sometimes. its been happening for months now and they call my work phone. i’ve got no personal details tied to that mobile, so i’m certain I don’t owe them a penny! I mostly just don’t pick up, but when I do I put the phone near a speaker and turn the volume up loud. all they ever do is leave some robotic message.

It’s Cabot Financial, a bunch of dodgy debt scammers. Don’t fall for their nonsense, you don’t owe them a penny! Best move is just to block their number. If you do end up speaking to them, warn them you’ll report their harassment to the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority), The Financial Ombudsman, the Police (for stalking and harassment), and even your local MP. You could also threaten a Twitter campaign to get them ‘cancelled’! Don’t let them scare you - they’ve got no real power.

It’s Cabot Financial again - just a bunch of dodgy debt collectors trying to squeeze money from you! Don’t fall for their tricks and give them a penny! They target the most vulnerable and those already struggling with money problems. People in tough spots are easy targets for these cheats ’cause they don’t have the means to fight back with lawyers or connections. The silver lining is these debt collectors don’t really have any real power - feel free to block ’em, ignore ’em, or just tell them where to go!
