I received a call from the number listed above, claiming to be the Citizens Advice Bureau. However, I have strong reservations about its legitimacy, as I was informed that such calls typically begin with 0800 or 0808, especially regarding matters like housing or disability. If the call comes up as anonymous, it definitely raises a red flag. Additionally, I’ve had some peculiar issues with my phone since it crashed on 9th August 2022, and after that, my PIN was altered. Just before the crash, I noticed my screen displayed a robotic interface, which reminded me of another number, 03304605295. I can't shake the feeling that either of these numbers could be associated with scams, harassment, or worse. I'm left with an uneasy feeling regarding their intentions. Cheers for any insights!

They claimed to be from Legal & General but sounded like citizens advice bureau, made it really hard to figure out if they were legit or just scammers.

Got a call saying they wanted to assist with my debts, but I don't owe anything. Seemed like they were just trying to fish out some personal info from me.

Somebody pretended to be from Citizens Advice and claimed they had my details from a bailiff that isn't real. Total scam! I checked with the real Citizens Advice, and they said they've got nothing to do with those calls at all. Stay careful, folks!

Total rip off! I rang Citizens Advice afterwards and they told me they don’t do cold calls at all. Apparently these calls are part of a scam aimed at forcing folks into IVA’s or even bankruptcy. Definitely watch out for this kind of thing!
