Got a weird text from this number saying that Sky had pushed my engineer visit forward by a day, which I only found out about through this message. Told to ring this number to sort it out. Got a message from Sky saying I had an outstanding balance, which I knew wasn’t right since I checked my account on their app. They asked me to call a number back. When I did, the first thing they wanted was my passwords - I refused and told them no way. If they really worked for Sky, they wouldn’t be asking for that info. So I just hung up. Got three calls from them, all marked on my phone as 'Possible Scam'.

Got two letters that looked like they were from Sky Mobile, saying I’d supposedly set up an account with them. The second one said I owed £44 and needed to pay right away or they'd send it to a debt collector. Thing is, I’ve never had a Sky Mobile account. The letters were signed by Denise Allan and Stephen van Rooyen. I rang up Sky Mobile to get them to check the info on the letters, but they weren’t much help at all.

Got a letter that looked proper official, with Sky Mobile at the top and all, asking me to pay £28 immediately or they'd send me to debt collectors. They wanted my bank info and it came from this dodgy number 03442 414 141, signed by someone called Denise Allan. I phoned Sky Mobile because I pay by direct debit every month and wanted to check if I owed anything. Turns out it’s totally a scam. Even the envelope looked proper, had their Leicester address on the back too.

Posing as a wine investment firm, akin to what Andrew Lloyd Webber is involved with. A delightful young woman promised to send me a brochure, which would subsequently be followed by a call from one of their high-ranking investment advisors. They rang twice the following day, eager to share a rather intriguing offer that apparently wasn’t included in the brochure. When I informed them that I wasn’t keen on their pitch, they turned rather rude. Surprisingly, the brochure never made its way to me! Clearly, this whole operation is nothing short of a scam!

That musical tune at the start is such a dead giveaway. Seriously, what’s the point? This bloke knew our exact name and said he was calling from Sky to talk about some changes to the insurance on our Sky box. Sky called once and just played music. Then they rang again saying it was about Sky equipment insurance. I told them I wasn't interested and ended the call. They rang back straight away! I told them not to ever call me again!

Got the same call today, some Indian bloke asked for Dave. Said he was from BT and claimed my broadband IP was at risk. He wanted everyone’s DOB in the house. I told him to guess my postcode first, about 1 in 26 chance, and poor Dave mucked that one up.

First there was some music, then a guy with a foreign accent saying he was Mick from Sky TV about renewing my breakdown cover. I heard him out, then told him I don’t even have Sky. Definitely a scam.

I received a call where they had music playing as soon as I answered. Clearly, this is a fraudulent operation. Can't help but wonder why Ofcom isn't keeping an eye on these sorts of numbers. I've taken the step to block them through BT Connect.

Got a call from 03442414141, just some music playing for a bit then complete silence for nearly 10 seconds before it cut off. This ain’t the first time either. Really tricky to stop these calls from coming through.

It really seemed like one of those call centres in India pretending to be from Sky, saying I had to get insurance for my Sky box, then started asking for my info. When I asked them for a Sky customer number to check if it was legit, they just hung up. Honestly, I hope they get what's coming to them and catch some proper nasty bug or something.
