I wouldnt trust them one bit, most scammers ive came across got a strong Indian accent and dont really get our language properly. You can try throwing them questions like "where is Twin Peaks?" or stuff like that just to see how they react, make things up to confuse em and shut em down.

Yeah this number really belongs to Sky customer service, but the problem is that it can be easily faked. Loads of people might be getting calls from scammers who’re just pretending to call from this number. With voip and stuff its super easy to spoof any number you want, so that’s probably why all these complaints are popping up.

I ended up speaking with someone named Daniel who wasn’t actually from Sky at all, so be careful not to share any personal details with them. They ended up locking me out of my account and put it into dormant status. Best to use the official Sky contact number you find right on their main website.
