Honestly, I'm inclined to consider these calls more of a bother than anything, given how often they occur. However, should you interact with them, it’s quite likely a scam.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft, stating that my computer's IP address had been compromised and that I needed to take immediate action to safeguard my accounts. This isn't the first time I've encountered such a scenario; about a year ago, a different caller made a similar claim, also presenting themselves as a representative from Microsoft. They urged me to access my computer while they guided me through purported steps to secure it. I quickly realised the previous caller was nothing more than a fraudster, despite their adamant denials. It's frustrating to see this happening again, so please, everyone, be cautious and refrain from following their instructions. These scammers are relentless!
