Some bloke rang me claiming to be from Microsoft, and it was actually the second time I got a call from “Microsoft” today. I asked him for a number so I could ring back and see if it was legit, and that’s the one he told me to use. These sorts of calls are pretty annoying and come all the time, but if you start talking to them, it's definitely dodgy.

Somebody phoned me claiming they were from Microsoft, saying my computer’s IP had been compromised and I needed to sort it out fast to protect my accounts. I got a call like this about a year back too, from someone else saying the same thing, trying to guide me through fixing it on my computer. I told them to jog on right away - definitely a scammer - but he kept insisting he was legit. That was roughly a year ago. So be careful, don’t fall for their tricks - scammers everywhere!
