I wouldn’t bother engaging with them. Feels like a trick to grab your gas or electric details - especially since they push you to agree to terms without actually going over any prices. Once I mentioned I was doubtful, they never rang again.

Got a call claiming to be from British Gas offering new electricity rates (we don’t even have gas in our area). They wanted me to listen to the terms and conditions, probably so if we didn’t refuse, it would count as an agreement. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

Got a call from 03440125174 claiming they were from Eon. They insisted on going through the terms and conditions with me over the phone and just wouldn’t accept that I didn’t want to. Ended up ringing me back like four different times! Proper annoying.

Got a call from someone claiming to be E.ON saying there was a problem with our business account. Thing is, we’re not even with E.ON so it seemed really suspicious.

They said they were ringing from e.on energy but then admitted they aren’t actually with e.on. Seems like just another random cold call to me since we don’t deal with e.on at all.

I got a call from someone saying they were Eon, my energy provider, which they definitely aren’t. I'd be very careful with calls like that.

I got a call from someone claiming to be with Eon regarding a business tariff and they even gave me a customer ID. They tried to run through the terms and conditions during the call. I was a bit suspicious since I don't think we're with Eon for business, just have a home plan. Then they said they’d transfer me to a manager to look into my account, but suddenly the call cut off or they just hung up on me.
