Got a call claiming to be from BT about a supposed broadband security problem. They said the line was with BT and tried to get me to let them into my router. I didn’t give them any details and just ended the call. Called the number back after a bit but it wasn’t recognised. Then I rang my provider who told me other customers had reported the same and advised me to just ignore and hang up. Later on, a different but similar number rang offering a phone and broadband deal, saying they were from "often". I knew right away that Ofgem doesn’t sell this stuff, so I just cut off straight away.
