Earlier today, we received a call from this number, claiming to be associated with Microsoft. The caller mentioned that they were encountering some error messages. They urged us to switch on our computer and verify our name and address, which we wisely chose not to do. However, when we tried to return the call, we were met with a message stating that the number was invalid or unrecognised. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

We've received calls from two different numbers, both claiming to represent Microsoft. It appears to be the same old con, just with a different number. These individuals insisted that our computer was launching viruses online-how daft! We're not so naïve as to buy into that nonsense. We didn't even let them get far into their pitch, knowing they’d likely try to get us to tinker with something on the computer, which we cleverly claimed not to possess. Of course, they insisted we had one. In the end, we simply hung up on them.

I recently received a call from this number, and it was a chap with a rather thick foreign accent. He was after me, addressing me as Mr W, claiming to be calling on behalf of Microsoft. He then asked if I owned a computer. Before I could gather my thoughts, the call dropped. I tried to ring them back, using 141 to keep my number private, but was greeted with a recorded message saying the number was unknown. Quite peculiar, isn't it?
