7 yearsI've been getting calls from this number claiming to be my internet provider (though they never actually name them) and threatening to cut off my internet unless I speak to their so-called EXECUTIVE. Honestly, who gets to chat with an executive right off the bat? They told me I had dubious traffic on my connection and I had to respond within a 24 to 48-hour window. I've chosen not to press any of the buttons they asked me to, as they're being rather vague about who they represent-no mention of the actual ISP or company names, no account details, not even a client reference. It all feels extremely fishy to me. It has the hallmarks of a classic scam-very non-specific and too eager for me to hand over information while giving none in return.
