I received a call from a chap with an Indian accent using the number 01905726162, which I believe is a dodgy BT Openreach line. Strangely enough, he started speaking to me in a language I couldn't grasp at all-presumably his native tongue. I couldn't help but respond with a touch of sarcasm, expressing my gratitude for the disturbance he caused my wife, who is trying to catch some kip after a night shift. I hung up, only to be greeted by a silent call just five minutes later from another number, 03368504806. Seems to me these two numbers could be part of the same scammy operation.
