I received a rather dodgy phone call purportedly from Talk Talk's Technical Support team. The individual on the other end insisted they had detected attempts to breach my computer's security. They urged me to disconnect my broadband and reboot it! I can only imagine that if I had gone along with their silly demands, there would have been more to their ruse than just that. This isn't the first time I've encountered such nonsense, and when I reached out to Talk Talk to flag the incident, they reassured me that no one from their Technical Department would ever contact me via phone. So, be vigilant folks! The call definitely had an international ring to it, and the background din was unmistakably characteristic of a call centre.
