Got a call from someone who spoke with a heavy Asian accent, said they were from a law office called ‘Toad to Recovery Accidents Dept’ based in SW18 London. They told me I’d been involved in a car accident - which was not true at all. Tried looking up their company name and number but found nothing at all. Better steer clear of this if you get a call like that.

I received a rather suspicious phone call from a gentleman sporting a notably thick foreign accent, likely from Asian descent-possibly Indian, Pakistani, or Bangladeshi-who claimed to represent a legal firm located in SW18 4DP, London. He insisted that I was eligible for compensation, although I had not been involved in any incidents to warrant such a claim. His manner was exceedingly pushy, and he mentioned that he had obtained my details from another source. Out of curiosity, I looked up 'Road to Recovery', the company he claimed affiliation with, but found nothing of the sort. It honestly felt like he was calling from abroad. I would highly recommend steering clear of this type of call-better safe than sorry!
