got a call from someone saying they were my housing association, but it felt off so i ended the call. then i rang my actual housing office and they said they never tried to reach me. watch out for these scams!

I got a call and didn’t even pick up, just let it ring out in silence.

I kept getting calls from this number and another one from Capquest, 01252765521, almost every few days, but now it’s only once a week, usually on a Thursday. The call is some robotic message about a private call for a person I don’t know, telling me to press 1 if it’s me and I’m free to chat. Ive never pressed anything and just end up hanging up. I did block the 01252 number before, which I guess is why they switched to this 0333 one. I’ll be blocking that one as well soon enough.

I’ve been getting nonstop calls from Vodafone about some debt I supposedly owe, which is the weird part since I haven’t had anything to do with them in over a decade. It’s really annoying being hounded over something that isn’t mine!

As far as I'm aware, we don't owe anything, so it sounds like a scam to me. They never asked for anyone by name, so there's no way I'll be calling them back.

This is the fourth time this week I've had a call from the same number. Every time, it's this recorded female voice that goes straight to my voicemail and always chops off the beginning of the message. It says something like "...tried reaching you today, might call again later. Please get in touch with Capquest ASAP on 03339997270." Quite annoying how it never gives the full message.

they keep ringin me trying to get me to call back, sayin it’s Capquest - sounds like some dodgy debt collector scam to me, just don’t bother answering or calling back!
