Number 03339398654 called me from TSS Engineers about renewing my washing machine cover for 2 years at £189. Later they rang back saying the price was actually £199 but included a free 3rd year. I immediately phoned to cancel and then contacted my bank, who blocked my debit card to prevent any payments. They keep calling even after I said no. This was on Wednesday 19th May.

My mum, who’s got dementia, got a call and ended up handing over £189. I’m planning to reach out to them and also get in touch with her bank today.

Received a call from someone claiming to be from an outfit wanting my bank information to supposedly extend my TV warranty. I provided them with some made-up details, which they astonishingly said were already on file. I'm sure they'll ring me again tomorrow, trying to extract even more info under the guise of customer service. Definitely dodgy behaviour!

For the past three months, I've been receiving calls from someone claiming to be 'Jordan', insisting that I pay £140 to renew the insurance on my Bosch washing machine. They seemed to know the last four digits of my credit card. They go by the name of Total Support Services. Quite the hassle!

This particular number is definitely linked to scammers. They managed to swipe my elderly mother’s bank details under the guise of a TV warranty, but thankfully her bank put a stop to the transaction. They had the gall to contact her again to hassle her, and that’s when I absolutely lost my patience. I snatched the phone out of her hand and gave them a piece of my mind. There’s no doubt about it, they won’t be pestering us again!

watch out for total support group! they tricked me even though they had all my current info plus my "safe word". ended up losing £189 and had a real headache dealing with the mess. be careful!

so this lady named lisa rings me up and says because i’ve been with them for a year without making any claims, i get a special £80 discount on my washing machine insurance. sounded alright but she was coughing badly down the phone which didn’t seem right especially these covid times. i told her i wasn’t planning to renew since i might be buying a new washing machine soon. then she suddenly says their insurance covers new machines too. when i asked why i would want that insurance for a new machine, the call just dropped! really strange experience.

My nan got a call from someone named Jordan claiming to be about washing machine insurance. She ended up giving them her info, but thankfully I rang the bank straight away and stopped her card, so nothing bad happened in the end.

Absolute con artists. They somehow got my mum’s bank info for some TV insurance scam, but luckily her bank stopped the payment. Then they had the nerve to call her back, telling her to convince the bank to accept the payment ‘cause apparently they weren’t scammers. I ended up speaking to some bloke named Shane, and after giving him a piece of my mind, I could tell he was fake - real people usually warn you about call monitoring, right? Seriously, be careful and don’t let these leeches fool your elderly relatives.

My cousin got a call from someone pretending to be an insurance company, trying to sell him a 2-year warranty on his washing machine for £180. He said he didn’t need it 'cause he's already covered. Since then, they've been ringing him every single day, saying they somehow have the last 4 digits of his card and now want the 3 digits on the back. He kept refusing and told them he wasn’t interested and that he’s not in good health, which is making him quite anxious. Honestly, these sorts of calls really need to be shut down.
