Just like the others, I realised the bloke's voice was muffled, like he was mumbling right into the receiver or something. When I asked him more questions, he totally froze and couldn’t carry on. I didn’t waste any time and rang Santander myself right after.

This bloke had me thinking he was legit, with all the stuff he was telling me about my accounts. Then he said he was gonna reset my online banking details right away because apparently my info had been hacked. He told me he’d already done it from his side and that new login info would be sent soon, but I’d have to use some temporary password for the next month. Fair enough, he was really friendly too! I went along with it and said cheers, but then I rang Santander straight away to check if this was a legit fraud team call - they told me no way, especially if someone asks for your OTP! So if you’ve had a call like this from this guy, you need to get on the phone to Santander quick smart!
