3 yearsSimilarly to what’s been mentioned, I noticed that the caller’s voice had an odd muffled quality, almost as if they were speaking with their mouth right against the microphone. When I probed them for further details, they seemed to falter. I promptly got in touch with Santander to report this.Santander3 yearsFraud alert! They attempted to misuse our personal information.3 yearsI received a call that initially seemed quite credible, but things took a turn when the caller informed me about resetting my online banking because, apparently, my account information had been compromised. He went on to say he’d already made some adjustments on his end and that new details would be sent to me shortly, advising I should use these temporary ones for the next month. He was exceedingly courteous, I must say! I went along with his claims politely enough but soon realised I ought to check with Santander directly. They assured me that such a call would not come from their fraud team, especially if I was being asked for one-time passwords!
