03338809050 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 03338809050 👆 is reported as a number linked to a suspected scam involving fake investment offers related to carbon credits. Callers claim affiliation with a UK-registered company with historic roots, but evidence suggests fraudulent activity, including requests for advance payments and use of documents from a dormant organisation. The firm is not on the Financial Conduct Authority register, raising concerns about legitimacy. Multiple calls in a short period with no voicemail left have been reported, and the calls persist despite some users being on the Telephone Preference Service. The scammers try to create a confusing impression by associating themselves with a trusted name and presenting professional-sounding contacts and addresses, but this appears to be a tactic to deceive and extract money.

They kept ringing me up like 5 times within half an hour trying to convince me I’m owed £84k from some dodgy mis sold investment. Honestly, just ignore it - total scam!

I found this number linked to Alex Dickson & Sons Ltd, based in Cornmarket, Belfast. From what I can tell, they might be running some sort of scam involving advance payments and carbon credits. They appear to have ties with ECX (European Climate Exchange), but that company is actually inactive. The head of accounts even pretends not to know the sole managing director listed on Companies House. They send documents supposedly from ECX trying to persuade you to pay a fee so the investment 'format' can be altered so the credits can be redeemed. Be careful with this one!

Phone rang but just went to voicemail with no message, so i'm just gonna block it.

The person on the phone said their company has been running since 1900, which sounds legit at first. Thing is, the name they used is actually linked to a famous rose growing firm that’s been around since then. They’re trying to trick you into believing it’s a finance company with that long history. Wouldn’t trust it.

Got a call today but as soon as I answered the machine started talking, no chance to say anything. They didn’t leave a message either. It’s annoying because I’m on the telephone preference service list, they’re meant to check that first before bothering you with these scam calls. Happens way too often!
